Aldi Opens Six New Stores
Aldi reached the mid-point of April with six new store openings as the grocer’s expansion efforts continue.
On April 10, four Aldi stores celebrated their respective grand openings. The grocer’s newest California store is located in Fontana at 9954 Sierra Ave, Suite 100, and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Other new stores to open the same day included Memphis, Tenn., at 785 Union Ave.; Lakeland, Fla., at 6902 S. Florida Ave.; and in Rochester, N.Y., at 1925 S. Clinton Ave. The three stores will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On April 17, Aldi expanded its presence in the Southeast with its first locations in Bainbridge, Ga., and Quincy, Fla. The Bainbridge store is located at 915 E. Shotwell Street, while the Quincy store is at 1632 W. Jefferson St.
The new stores bring Aldi one step closer to achieving its goal of opening 800 stores nationwide by the end of 2028.
