Aldi Opens New Store In California

The Jurupa Valley location is the latest move in the grocer's ongoing expansion efforts in the U.S.

Aldi has opened a new store in Jurupa Valley, Calif.

Aldi is expanding its presence in California with the opening of the grocer’s first location in Jurupa Valley.

Located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, the new store is located at 8089 Mission Blvd. and celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, June 20. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Tom Cindel, Moreno Valley group director of Operations & Logistics for Aldi.  “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Jurupa Valley and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”   

To celebrate the store’s opening, the first 100 customers received a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers were also able to enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend June 20 – June 23 for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.
