Aldi Grows In Louisiana, Tennessee

The discount grocer continues its expansion plans with the opening of two new stores on June 13.

Residents of Bossier City, La., will have access to the community’s first Aldi store as the grocer opens its newest store in the Bayou State on June 13 at 2900 Meadow Creek Dr. 

That same day, Aldi will expand its presence in Clarksville, Tenn., with the opening of a new store at 2829 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Both locations will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To celebrate the grand opening of both stores, the first 100 customers at each location will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend June 13 through June 16 for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster, and easier,” said Scott Huska, Denton vice president for Aldi.  “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Bossier City and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.” 

Amy Peters, Mount Juliet vice president for Aldi, said of the grocer’s newest store in Tennessee, “We’re committed to offering our shoppers the products they know and love at the lowest possible prices, period. We have served the Clarksville community for more than five years and are excited to continue offering residents an affordable way of shopping.”
