Aldi continues to expand its store count across the United States.

Aldi is closing out October with the opening of four stores, with three locations in the Midwest and a fourth in Florida. Two stores are new to their respective communities while one is a relocation and one was recently remodeled.

The discount grocer is raising the curtains on new stores in Suamico, Wis., at 2324 Lineville Rd.; and in Otsego, Minn.

The Streamwood, Ill., store at 960 S. Barrington Rd. is a new build and will replace the existing Aldi store at 931 E. Irving Park Road. The St. Petersburg store at 2900 34th Street South is part of Aldi’s ongoing initiative to remodel and expand existing stores.

The updated store features an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection. It also offers open ceilings and natural lighting, and it is built with environmentally friendly materials.

Each store will host a grand opening celebration where the first 100 customers will receive a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card during the Grand Opening weekend from October 26 through October 29.

“We have invested in remodeling our stores to ensure they are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Matt Thon, Haines City regional vice president for Aldi. “With the updated St. Petersburg store shoppers will notice a new look with more fresh and convenient items at the reliably low prices Aldi fans rave about.”
