Aldi has opened new stores in Ohio, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

Aldi has expanded into three new communities in Ohio, Georgia, and Wisconsin as the grocer celebrated the opening of the new locations on September 19.

Its new store in Canfield, Ohio, to the east of Akron and near the border with Pennsylvania is located at 4165 Westford Place. The Thomasville, Ga., store at 1530 E. Jackson Street is near the Florida state line, while the new Aldi in Whitewater, Wis., located between Milwaukee and Madison calls 1380 West Main Street home.

Each store is the first Aldi in the three communities with all three open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

As part of this grand opening in Canfield, Aldi is donating $1,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley. The grocer also donated $1,000 to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin as part of the Whitewater store’s grand opening.

The donations are part of Aldi’s commitment to donating $150,000 to Feeding America and its network of affiliates through 2024 to help alleviate hunger in local communities.
