Aldi Expands In Wisconsin

The discount grocer opens its first store in the community of Sparta.

Aldi has opened a new store in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Aldi is expanding its presence in the Badger State as the grocer opens its newest store in the community of Sparta at 1650 W. Wisconsin Street.

Located in the western part of Wisconsin, the store celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, February 22. It will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To celebrate, the first 100 customers at the store received a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend February 22 through February 25 for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.   

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Shane Williams, Oak Creek vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Sparta and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
