Aldi Expands Presence In Ohio
One new store and a completed store remodel project are the highlights for Aldi as the grocer hits the mid-way point of August with grand opening and grand reopening celebrations.
The southwestern Cleveland suburb of Middleburg Heights is the grocer’s newest store in Ohio. Located at 6820 Pearl Road, the doors officially opened on Thursday, August 15. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
We have served the Middleburg Heights community for more than 21 years and are excited to continue offering residents an affordable way of shopping,” said Corey Stucker, vice president for Aldi’s Hinckley region. “ALDI is positioned to help keep costs as low as possible because of our disciplined approach to operating with simplicity and efficiency.”
In Orlando, Aldi on August 15 reopened its renovated store at 4607 South Orange Blossom Trail. This location is the latest step in the grocer’s ongoing initiative to remodel and expand existing stores.
“We have invested in remodeling our stores to ensure they are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster, and easier,” said Matt Thon, Haines City regional vice president for Aldi. “With the updated Orlando store, shoppers will notice a new look with more fresh and convenient items at the reliably low prices Aldi fans rave about.”
At both locations, the first 100 customers received a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers were also able to enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend August 15 – August 18 for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.
