ALDI expands plant-based private label
ALDI is expanding its plant-based private label, Earth Grown.
Batavia, Ill.-based ALDI is expanding its plant-based private label, Earth Grown, by incorporating new options in hopes of appealing to the rise of vegan and vegetarian consumers.
According to Cooking Light, the company’s Earth Grown brand now includes five new burgers: Buffalo Chickenless, BBQ Chickenless, Mushroom Risotto, Lentil Veggie and Southwest Quinoa Crunch. The burgers join Earth Grown products such as its Meatless Meatballs, Spinach Ravioli, Mozzarella Style Shreds and Meatless Jumbo Hotdogs.
All new products are now available for a limited time. The burgers are priced between $3.49-$3.79 for a box of four patties.
