Aldi has opened its first store in Palestine, Tex.

Shoppers in Palestine, Tex., have a new grocery store to choose from with the opening of Aldi’s first location in the east Texas community.

Located at 2117 South Loop 256, the store celebrated its grand opening on August 1 and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster, and easier,” said Scott Huska, Denton vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Palestine and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”

As part of the grand opening celebration, the first 100 customers at the store received a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers also have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend August 1 through August 4 for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.
