On October 10, Aldi is opening new stores in Florida and Maryland.

Communities in Florida and Maryland are the latest to celebrate the opening of new Aldi stores as the discount grocer continues moving forward with its store expansion plans.

The new store in Fountainebleau, Fla., is located at 7797 W. Flagler Street and is the first Aldi location in the community located just to the south of Miami International Airport. The store is scheduled to open on October 10, with daily store hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster, and easier,” said JR Perry, Royal Palm Beach vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Fountainebleau and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”

Also on October 10, Aldi will open a new location in Annapolis, Md., at 133 Holiday Court. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be the first Aldi in the Central Maryland community.

As part of this Grand Opening in Annapolis, Aldi will be donating $1,000 to Maryland Food Bank. This donation is part of the grocer’s commitment to donating $150,000 to Feeding America and its network of affiliates through 2024 to help alleviate hunger in local communities.

In addition to this donation, Aldi will work with Maryland Food Bank to ensure excess grocery items are delivered to the local community through the Feeding America Network. In the past year, Aldi donated 33 million pounds of food to Feeding America partners across the country.
