Aldi Expanding Presence In New York City

The discount grocer is giving consumers in the Bronx another opportunity to shop its broad assortment of private label products.

Aldi is opening a new store in the Bronx.

Aldi is expanding its footprint in the New York Metropolitan Area with the opening of its new Bronx store at 845 White Plains Road.

Local shoppers will be able to access the new Bronx store when it opens on Thursday, October 19 at 9 a.m. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The first 100 customers will receive a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card during the Grand Opening weekend from October 19 through October 22.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” said Chris Daniels, South Windsor regional vice president for Aldi. “We have served this community for more than 12 years and are excited to continue to offer Bronx residents an affordable way of shopping.”
