Aldi is opening a new store on the northside of Chicago that expands the grocer’s presence in the Windy City that dates back 35 years.

Located at 3930 N. Kilpatrick, Ave., the store’s grand opening is set for Thursday, March 7, and will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Additionally, the discount grocer is opening new stores in Neptune, N.J., at 722 Route 35, and in Millington, Tenn., at 8699 US Highway 51N, Unit 101. The Neptune store is a relocation from an existing store, while the Millington store is the first Aldi in that community.

To celebrate the grand opening of the three stores, the first 100 customers at each will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend March 7 through March 10 for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Amy Peters, Mount Juliet vice president for Aldi, which includes the new Millington store. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Millington and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
