Aldi is expanding its presence along the east coast with new store openings planned for Millsboro, Del., and Callaway, Fla. The two locations will welcome shoppers for the first time on Thursday, Feb. 23.

The first 100 customers at each store will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi products and a gift card as part of the grocer’s Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” said Heather Moore, Loxley regional vice president for Aldi.

The Millsboro and Callaway locations are the first Aldi stores in both of those communities. Aldi operates more than 2,240 stores across 38 states.
