Aldi Adds Three Stores As Expansion Continues
The grocer's converts Winn-Dixie stores in Louisiana and Florida and opens a brand new location in Michigan
Aldi reached the midpoint of March with three new store openings stretching from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico.
In Amite, La., the grocer has completed the conversion of a Winn-Dixie store at 804 W. Oak St. To the east in Pensacola, Fla., Aldi has expanded its presence on the Florida panhandle with its new store at 312 East Nine Mile Road. This store is also a conversion of a former Winn-Dixie store. Up north, Aldi opened its first store in Hillsdale, Mich., at 3751 W. Carleton.
The three locations each celebrated their respective grand openings on March 13 and each will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The new Aldi stores are a continuation of the company’s plans to add 800 stores across the U.S. by the end of 2028.
