Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons Cos. plans to add 1,400 new store brand products this year, more than double the number of own-brand launches in 2017. So far, the company has rolled out 300 of the products.
The new SKUs in Albertsons’ Own Brands portfolio span across all of the retailer’s private brands, including O Organics, Signature, Lucerne, Open Nature, Value Corner, Waterfront Bistro, Primo Taglio and Debi Lilly Design. Among the already launched items are Signature Select Cold Brew Coffee, Open Nature Scandal-less Ice Cream and O Organics Sparkling Tea.
