7-Eleven re-defines the ‘beer run’

Dallas, Texas-based 7-Eleven is flipping the “beer run” on its head: The company is launching a new service that brings the popular alcoholic beverage right to the home of consumers.

According to Fortune magazine, the company is the largest to enter the beer delivery marketplace, and is testing its new delivery service in 18 different cities: Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago, Ill.; Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas; Los Angeles, Calif.; Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; New York, N.Y.; Norfolk-Portsmouth, Va.; Orlando-Daytona, Fla.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Portland, Ore.; Sacramento, Calif.; San Antonio, Texas; San Diego, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; Seattle-Tacoma, Wash.; St. Louis, Mo.; Tampa, Fla.
