Convenience giant 7-Eleven has launched its latest hot breakfast item. For a limited-time only, customers can find the brand new maple-flavored sausage, egg and cheese taquito at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations.

"Here at 7-Eleven, we're always looking for creative ways to expand our menu and cater to our customers' food cravings in ways that maximize convenience," said Robin Murphy, senior director of fresh foods at 7-Eleven. "Now, with our maple-flavored sausage taquito, customers have a craveworthy on-the-go breakfast at their fingertips, morning, noon or night!"

7-Eleven’s new taquito is a unique take on breakfast, featuring eggs, pork sausage, cheddar cheese and a sweet maple flavored batter. Customers can add an iced coffee to the taquito for breakfast for just $1.

The chain’s newest addition continues the trend of unique limited-edition flavored items, following two hot beverages, Churroccino and White Chocolate Caramel Mocha. For 7Rewards members, each purchase of the new breakfast taquito comes with 100 bonus points.

Based in Irving, Texas, 7-Eleven operates, franchises and/or licenses more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
