Store Brand OTC Sales Rise as J&J Recalls More Products

Over the past month, OTC store brands have increased 23 percent to $51.9 million as J&J’s sales have plunged 56 percent, according to Symphony IRI Group data quoted by the Associated Press.
Shoppers are becoming more wary of purchasing J&J products as the company announced its eight recall this week, which included 21 more lots of Tylenol, Children’s Tylenol and Benadryl.
