Source sustainably to innovate and better communicate your brand

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important to today's consumers. Sustainability also should be factor in decision-making related to sourcing store brand products; consumers want assurance that a product's supplier engages in sustainable practices.

During a Feb. 27 general session to be held during the 2015 Store Brands Innovation & Marketing Summit, Doug Baker, vice president, private brands for the Food Marketing Institute, and Janice Neitzel, CEO and principal of the Sustainable Solutions Group, will discuss how retailers could source more sustainably to innovate and better communicate their own brands.
