Second Quarter Store Brands Retail State of the Industry Webinar

Our second quarter Retail State of the Industry report will offer an update on the first quarter and an update on consumer buying trends.

The past three years have seen monumental shifts across retail. Spurred by rapidly changing consumer needs as a result of the pandemic, supply chain challenges, and inflation, retailers have been nimble and creative in developing new initiatives that have served shoppers and kept stores open and products moving off the shelves. We’ve also seen the gap between traditional brick-and-mortar and digital retail narrow with more changes expected in the year ahead.

More than ever, retailers and suppliers need to stay ahead of trends to be successful. Knowing what is happening and what’s to come is important. But equally important is understanding the WHY behind current and future trends and gaining insight into HOW those trends could impact their business and what changes they will need to make.

On Thursday, April 20, at 11 a.m., Elizabeth Lafontaine, chief retail analyst at Retail Leader Pro, will review changes and developments across retail, discuss the current consumer mindset, highlight data points that show how consumers are shopping and what they’re buying, and offer her thoughts and unique insight about what’s on the horizon.

Our second quarter Retail State of the Industry report will offer an update on the first quarter and an update on consumer buying trends. The webinar will dive into how consumers are dealing with economic challenges, how retailers are reacting to the needs of shoppers and what new shopping trends are on the horizon as we look toward the midpoint of 2023.
