Renowned cake designer Joshua John Russell joins in2food


Dobla, a manufacturer of chocolate decorations, and in2food, a Duluth, Ga.-based manufacturer of pastry shells and silicone molds for retailers’ in-store bakeries, foodservice distributors and industrial bakeries, announced the addition of pastry chef and cake designer Joshua John Russell to their team.

According to the two companies, Russell’s talents will be put to work at in2food doing product demonstrations, holiday/seasonal concept creation, customer-specific custom programs and more. His addition to the in2food team will ensure that in2food continues to provide world-class talent to support its customers and partners.

Russell, who received his education at Johnson and Wales University and began his professional career at Ashville, N.C.’s Grove Park Inn, made a name for himself by appearing in 15 — and winning five — episodes of Food Network Challenge and all six episodes of Last Cake Standing, the companies stated. He also has been featured in many books and magazines, as well as had the opportunity to be a guest judge at cake shows around the country. His work as an instructor at has made him an international success.
