Publix releases limited-edition gingerbread grocery store
Southeastern grocery chain Publix is putting a new spin on a classic holiday treat.
The chain has released a limited-edition gingerbread kit that allows shoppers to build and decorate their own edible gingerbread Publix grocery store.
"We know our fans love checking out the newest Publix locations," said the company. "So we’re excited to share the sweetest and smallest one of all: the Publix Super Markets Gingerbread Store! Just in time for the holiday season, this fun-to-decorate kit is now available in stores. It has everything you need to combine your love of Publix with the classic tradition of building gingerbread houses with loved ones."
The new item release comes at the same time that Publix and Instacart have partnered for the new online 'virtual convenience store' that allows customers to shop from Publix's wide assortment of fresh groceries, pantry and household essentials, and more, for delivery in as fast as 30 minutes with Instacart Priority Delivery.
Items included in the gingerbread store kit are:
