Loblaw launches better-for-you campaign incorporating store brands

On Feb. 22, Brampton, Ontario-based Loblaw Companies Ltd. launched its “Bring Healthier Home” campaign, which helps shoppers create and enjoy more healthful meals with Presidents Choice products. The retailer is supporting the campaign in the latest issue of its President’s Choice Insider’s Report (via print, digital and the publications website), which features information on how to understand nutrition labeling (including Guiding Stars labeling, Marine Stewardship Council certification labels and more), dieting tips, an array of President’s Choice Blue Menu and President’s Choice Organic products, and recipes incorporating a number of the products.

“Research shows that 85 percent of Canadian families use mealtime as an opportunity to teach their children about healthier eating,” said Tina Stewart, registered dietitian, Loblaw. “Getting your family to make more nutritious choices can be tricky, which is why we created some new and easy ways to incorporate healthier eating into breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
