ALDI's own-brand cookies win new product award
Benton's Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies, a store brand offering from ALDI Inc., Batavia, Ill., came out a winner in the 2015 Better Homes and Gardens Best New Product Awards. According to the magazine and BrandSpark International, Toronto, the cookies won in the Baked Goods subcategory within the Food & Beverage category.
The awards program honored 93 winning consumer packaged goods across North America in the Beauty, Food & Beverage, Health & Personal Care, Household and Kids categories, the two sources said. The winning products, selected among 294 entries, were determined solely by more than 70,000 consumers who participated in an extensive nationwide survey conducted by BrandSpark in partnership with Better Homes and Gardens. ALDI's cookies are the only store brand offering to be honored in this year's awards. Better Homes and Gardens will showcase the winners within its print, digital and broadcast properties.
